Cut out a variety of interesting pictures
from a magazine or a children's catalog to affix to the highchair tray - pictures
of children eating and favorite food items are especially appealing to babies.
Cover the tray with clear contact paper to keep the pictures mess-free. While
your baby eats, point and describe the pictures. Eventually you baby will be able
to point to the pictures herself and one day use the words to identify what's
in them!
